You cupped your pretty little hands together,
A giggle escaped your lips as the snowflakes
Kissed your skin.
It was so contradicting—
So Chilling,
So white,
So pure,
But you did not know yet
Of the icy pain—or hatred—
The cold could bring.

You blink the snowflakes
Out of your long eyelashes.
You smile when you see—her—
The lens close and that moment
Is taken.

Times like these don’t last,
They melt along with the snow as the spring
Awakens.
Like the daisies and sunflowers that chase away the cold,
You grow and embrace the
Sunlight
Through the FacadeTHROUGH THE FAÇADE

Walking through the desolate crowds,
A hauntingly cold façade they keep,
It’s born from the neon lights that shine
In the mirrors of the cities that never sleep.

Keep walking. Keep. On. Walking.
Ignore the hollow echoes and hesitant calls,
Everyone you touch can feel them--
Forgotten through the eye’s window they fall.

Beneath their tight impassive features--
A cry for mercy and peace resounds,
It’s the frayed-out-string that binds us together,
Its desperate whispers fall silent so loud.

Through the small secluded view we see
Only things that subconscious can obey—

There is a linen pocket that rides
   Next to a briefcase
       There is a piece of paper in that pocket.
      It is worth fifty thousand pennies

--and it falls...
      It will not change the world.

    There are a hundred million
         pennies forced upon
   the poverous so a
man can boost his public
        image.

--they are used but it only goes so far.
     That will not change the world.

There is a penny clutched in this young boys hand.
     It is filthy as is the rest of him.
        His old and torn clothes hang loosely around his thin frame.

make sure you save it to your desktop and then move it into your fonts folder which can be found at C:\WINDOWS\fonts

I don't know where it is at if you're not using windows, sorry.
